Based on laws and regulations related to the protection of consumer rights and interests in Canada, HUAWEI as formulated its product warranty policy, according to which you could return, replace, or repair the products return, replace, or repair the products. Warranty services2.2.1 Maintenance services2.2.1.1 Free Maintenance Period(1) Free Maintenance service of handsets:a) Within 12 months from the date of purchase,if a performance fault that is not caused by human damage occurs on the host of the product, you could enjoy the free maintenance services.b) The product warranty starting date is subject to the day when the purchase receipt or Proof of Purchase (hereinafter referred to as POP) is issued.c) Invoice, invoice copy, product warranty card can be used as POP. If you are unable to provide the receipt (POP), the warranty start date will be 90 days after the manufactured date (indicated by device’s serial number).d) For details, you could check access our website to check whether the device is within the warranty period at:https://consumer.huawei.com/ca/support/warranty-query/(2) Free Maintenance service of charger and other accessories (if included in the box set):a) Within 12 months from the date of purchase,if a performance fault that is not caused by human damage occurs on the host of the product, you could enjoy the free maintenance services.b) Invoice, invoice copy and product warranty card can be used as POP. If you are unable to provide POP, the warranty start date will be 90 days after the manufactured date of the host (indicated by device’s serial number).2.2.1.2 Maintenance Guide(1) You could click the following link to query the nearest Huawei authorized service center:https://consumer.huawei.com/ca/support/service-center/(2) You could also select the postal repair, please confirm in advance whether the service center is providing the postal repair service.(3) Please back up your personal data before maintenance.(4) It is recommended to carry the POP when you sending the device for maintenance.2.2.1.3 Commitment of Maintenance Quality1)Parts of the device that replaced in non-warranty repair could enjoy a limited 90 days warranty period.2)Accessories replaced in non-warranty repair could enjoy a limited 90 days warranty period.3)The staff of Huawei Authorized Service Center (ASC) will communicate with you and explain the limited warranty.2.2.2 Non-warranty scopea) Abuse, accident, misuse, improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, or dampness;b) External causes such as from collision, fire, flooding, sand, dirt, windstorm, lightning, or earthquake;c) Exposure to extreme weather conditions, Acts of God, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source;d) Computer or internet viruses, bugs, worms, Trojan Horses, cancel bots;e) Use with non-HUAWEI products or products not recommended for use with HUAWEI products;f) Normal wear and tear of the Product;g) Usage of Product other than its normal and customary manner;h) Improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or any alteration or modification of Product;i) Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in HUAWEI materials and workmanship;j) Service performed by anyone who is not a HUAWEI representative or an authorized HUAWEI service provider;k) Cosmetic damages, including but not limited to dents or scratches in decorative, structural, or non-operative parts resulting from normal customer use;l) Spillage of food or liquid, corrosion, rust or incorrect voltage; andm) Viruses or other software problems introduced into the Product.3. Other content statements3.1. The preceding clauses only apply to Huawei terminal products/devices sold in Canada.3.2. The specific models can be guaranteed in Canada, which refers to the notices posted on the official website.3.3. Huawei is not responsible for any other commitments that are not guaranteed by Huawei made by the seller to the customer.3.4. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER STATUTORY RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM PROVICE TO PROVINCE. OTHER THAN AS PERMITTED BY LAW, HUAWEI DOES NOT LIMIT OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS INCLUDING THOSE THAT MAY ARISE FROM NONCOFORMITY OF A SALES CONTRACT.
