New York Stylesetters Toast To Masterpiece London

This week, a Who’s Who of the design community gathered in Manhattan to toast the forthcoming edition of Masterpiece London, the celebrated art-and-antiques extravaganza. Organized by the fair’s American Committee, the party could have asked for no better setting than the home of AD100 designer Jamie Drake , who treated guests to an array of delectable nibbles as well as peeks inside the famous car elevator in his marquee West Chelsea building (designed by Annabelle Selldorf). Joining him were a bevy of other AD100 talents—among them Vicente Wolf, Mario Buatta, and Madeline Stuart—not to mention *AD’*s very own Margaret Russell, Alison Levasseur, Stephen Wallis, and Jacqueline Terrebonne. Spirits ran as high as anticipation for Masterpiece itself.
