And because we were curious about what was hot right now, we picked the brains of five purveyors of vintage goods to see what people can’t stop buying. According to Shelly Haywood and Lisa Cameron of The Modern Vault , vintage brass everything — particularly brass wall sculptures — are super hot right now. This warm metal is a great way to add inviting texture.

Haywood and Cameron are also finding that this mid-century classic is seeing a major resurgence in the vintage-obsessed scene, bringing sunshiney vibes to homes far and wide.

Danish Credenzas

Given Scandinavian style’s massive popularity, it’s no surprise that Haywood and Cameron are having a hard time keeping Danish credenzas in stock.

The folks over at popular vintage Etsy shop Littlecows said that classic mid-century collectibles are in high demand lately for the dining room. With the amount of Saarinen-style tables and Eames dining chairs we see, we’re sure they’re right about this one.

Old-timey bottles like the ones pictured here via MidWestLiving are super popular according to Jaclyn of 86 Vintage . They’ll immediately add a layer of visual intrigue while functioning as a creative alternative to conventional vases.

Ladder Back Chairs

86 Vintage is also seeing a ton of interest in the ladder back chairs of yesteryear from decor enthusiasts looking to spice up their style with this vintage staple.

Stoneware Jugs

Lisa Hashima of the swoon-worthy shop Her Vintage Crush , is finding that a lot of folks are looking for quiet ways to tuck a bit of luxury into their aesthetic with brass sculptural candlesticks.

Kalyn McCutcheon of the Brooklyn-based Etsy shop Gallivanting Girls said that despite the heat of summer, velvet upholstery is still making major waves in their shop. Everything from velvet sofas to pillows to chairs are continuing to garner the attention of buyers.
