The Colors For Pottery Barn’s Fall Collection Are Oh So Soothing

By Patrick Wilson

When you think “fall,” what colors come to mind? Rich reds, burnt oranges, deep golds, and browns, right? Pottery Barn decided to paint outside the box this fall season. Rather than the standard autumnal color palette, the home decor brand is introducing customers to a “Mineral Palette,” one that pulls inspiration other earthy hues.

Pottery Barn describes their new palette as, “Serene mineral tones, from sea-inspired blues to soothing moss, that mix and match with ease.”

With names like Fig, Sage, Oatmeal, Cloud, Sand, Thistle, Tobacco, and Mineral Blue paired with textures like faux fur, cotton, and linen, Pottery Barn’s new collection aims to create a calm, cool space in which you can wait for winter.

If you still like cozying up with your favorite teddy bear, you’ll love the faux fur throw pillow covers Pottery Barn has included in its new collection. On those chilly fall nights, you’ll absolutely want to curl up under one of the Boucle Fringe Throws made with 100 percent organic cotton percale. According to Pottery Barn’s website, their organic cotton is “grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.” Buy: Heathered Boucle Fringe Throws, $35
