Zaha Hadid–Designed Vases by Viennese Firm Wiener Silber Manufactur

Known for her futuristic, swooping buildings, starchitect Zaha Hadid has lent her famous sculptural sensibility to a pair of stunning silver vases available at the New York design shop Stillfried Wien. Created in a limited edition of 25 with historic Viennese silversmith Wiener Silber Manufactur, the 130-ounce pieces, named Loa and Vesu, were inspired by volcanic activity. With their mercury-esque façades, the vessels display the same wavelike fluidity of Hadid’s lively architecture.

“The vases translate the inherent beauty of natural systems by continuing a narrative that explores the creation of geological forms,” Hadid said.
